EVENTS

We don't just live online. Sonicglow shows up where scent and story collide - from pop-ups in San Diego to handmade markets along the coast. Whether a curated event, indie makers market or music-filled festival, we show up with the kind of scents that pull people in and keep them talking. About music. About memory. About all the stuff that really matters.

Below, you’ll find both upcoming events and a running archive of where we’ve already been. Every event is a chance to meet IRL, make memories, and turn up the experience.

From design-forward pop-ups and curated markets to music festivals and community-driven causes, you might’ve seen our candles out in the wild.

Maybe it was at our booth, in a care package, or passed between friends as a gift with a story. Wherever we show up, we bring the boldest candles to the most unforgettable spaces.

Past events

Maybe you’ve seen us at a pop-up in San Diego. Maybe you stopped by a booth at one of the city’s curated makers markets.

We’re not the booth with polite small talk and quiet scents. We’re bold. We're loud. We're the ones trading stories about music, memory triggers, travel and the smell of your favorite childhood memories. Here’s where it all went down.

San Diego Markets

Makers Arcade Summer Fair | 2025

San Diego | July 2025

Two sun-soaked days at Waterfront Park, with ocean breezes cutting the heat and music drifting across the park. Foot traffic was light, but the vibes in the Sonicglow booth? Solid. We debuted our immersive scent + sound + memory setup and honestly, it hit for those that stopped by. People leaned into the playlists, asked questions and got lost in the mix. Plus we had a blast pulling the whole thing together!

Special shout to Lydon (@lydon_music), who dropped in for live mixes and added killer energy to the booth. Our One-Hit Wonders were a standout too! People couldn’t stop sniffing, stacking and debating their favorites. Also, we always love to see returning customers stop by and leave just as obsessed as the first time.

Low-key weekend with plenty of conversations with fellow vendors and market attendees alike. Thanks to the event organizers too. They do such a great job putting together a really nice makers market for people of all ages to enjoy.

Makers Arcade Holiday Fair | 2024

San Diego | December 2024

Our second year at the Makers Arcade Holiday Fair brought even more to love. Held at Broadway Pier with its unbeatable waterfront views, the 2024 edition stretched across three festive days, including a special late-night shopping session during the San Diego Harbor’s Parade of Lights. With 140+ curated vendors, live music, holiday workshops, and nonstop foot traffic, it was everything a handmade holiday market should be.

We spent the weekend chatting with customers, sharing scent stories, and swapping laughs with our neighboring vendors. Was there a customer favorite? Killing Moon! Just about everyone who stopped by made a beeline for it. Other favorites included Coastal Hike, Pacific Beach and a seasonal scent, Merry Mint.

Nocturnal Bazaar

San Diego | July 2024

A monthly event created by a fellow local creative and maker, Nocturnal Bazaar was a night market with an assortment of vendors, a DJ spinning vinyl and food + drinks flowing. This monthly pop-up was all about community, creativity and supporting small biz. The night we participated overlapped with San Diego Pride, so foot traffic was light, but the energy was still solid. We had some great conversations, shared scent stories, and showed up for a fellow maker doing the whole damn thing solo! If there’s one thing we’ll always stand behind, it’s backing other makers who go all in.

San Diego Made Spring Market | 2024

San Diego | April 2024

This one-day market brought us to La Mesa Village on yet another picture-perfect SoCal day. With steady foot traffic and curious shoppers all day long, we had a blast sharing scent stories, answering questions and connecting with the community.

For this round, we tested out a more streamlined packaging setup... same bold candles, same storytelling, just a new way to experience them. The response? Super positive. People stopped, sniffed and stayed awhile (and that’s exactly what we’re here for).

Makers Arcade Holiday Fair | 2023

San Diego | December 2023

Our first holiday market with Makers Arcade and it was awesome. Held at the Broadway Pier in downtown San Diego, right next to the cruise terminals, this two-day event brought a nonstop stream of shoppers, music, gourmet food trucks, festive workshops, and 130+ curated vendors. With scent in the air and stories behind every candle, we spent the weekend connecting with curious customers, sharing our process, and watching people walk away with gifts that actually meant something.

One standout? Island Wine. One customer was so excited to gift it to friends, she grabbed four on the spot and several others followed her lead. Big turnout, big energy. Definitely one for the books!

San Diego Made Holiday Market | 2023

San Diego | November 2023

Back at Julep Venue for our second San Diego Made holiday market, and this one brought even more energy. With over 120 local makers, live music, food trucks, craft cocktails, and hands-on workshops, the space was buzzing all weekend. We loved seeing returning customers, meeting new ones, and watching people light up as they found the perfect scent for their holiday gifting. Bold candles, real conversations, and a full-on festive atmosphere... that’s what this one was all about.

San Diego Made Spring Market | 2023

San Diego | April, 2023

Held outdoors at the Julep Venue on a perfect spring day, this market brought the best of San Diego’s maker scene together and we were right in the mix. We spent the day swapping stories, answering questions, and digging into the process and inspiration behind our scent lineup with every single person who stopped by.

One of our favorite things? Aside from chatting with customers, we love connecting with other vendors, creatives and small biz owners. More than a few came over just to ask about our packaging design... proof that good storytelling doesn’t stop at the label.

San Diego Made Holiday Market | 2022

San Diego | November 2022

Our first time at San Diego Made’s holiday market and it delivered. Held at the Julep Venue in Little Italy, this two-day event featured live music, food trucks, creative workshops, and a stacked lineup of 85+ curated vendors. The crowd came ready to shop, and our booth was busy from the jump. We met a ton of new customers, shared scent stories, and helped a lot of folks check names off their holiday gift lists with something bold and unexpected.

San Diego Made | Belmont in Bloom

San Diego | May 2022

Set against the backdrop of Belmont Park - a Mission Beach icon for nearly a century - this curated makers market brought the indie goods to a place better known for roller coasters and nostalgia. We joined for a single-day pop-up near our favorite boardwalk (which inspired our Pacific Beach candle) just ahead of Mother's Day. With sun, ocean air, and a steady stream of families, tourists and locals, the day was full of energy. Shoppers stopped in, shared stories, and picked out gifts that felt personal - candles tied to memories, music and scent-driven moments.

San Diego Vintage Holiday Market

San Diego | December 2021

Our very first market... and a damn good one. It was a perfect SoCal day - blue skies, sun on our shoulders and a steady flow of curious shoppers who couldn’t stop sniffing. Once people stepped into our booth, the reactions rolled in! “They all smell amazing,” “So unique,” “Love the packaging.” We shared scent memories, swapped stories, and saw faces light up when something familiar hit. A total kickoff moment for Sonicglow and one we’ll never forget.

This market is now known as Vintage Social Club SD.

San Diego Pop-ups

Adams Avenue Street Fair + Music Fest

San Diego | September 2023

Scent meets sound and the kind of event that felt made for Sonicglow. For one loud, sun-soaked Saturday, we set up shop at the 41st annual Adams Avenue Street Fair, Southern California’s largest free two-day music festival. With 75 live acts across seven stages, the streets of Normal Heights pulsed with everything from punk to reggae and all points in between.

We spent the day talking music, scent and memory with customers who got it. The crowd? Wildly diverse. The conversations? Deep and nostalgic. We soaked it all up and the music made it effortless. One clear winner? Bitchin Camaro. With punk bands tearing it up just blocks away, that scent hit home for a lot of people. Loud, nostalgic and totally on brand.

Artisan Pop-up market | Sea Hive Station

San Diego | December 2022

A one-day holiday pop-up with 20+ local makers from the Sea Hive Station community. A bit of a slow day, but fun conversations with both curious passersby and other vendors and a chance to get Sonicglow in front of fresh eyes. We talked scent, music and memory and made sure people left knowing exactly who we are and where they can find us.
