Orders are shipped from our studio in sunny San Diego, California and are generally processed and fulfilled within 1–5 business days. In the warmer months, orders are shipped Monday – Wednesday to minimize the chance of candles being left in hot trucks or warehouses over weekends or any length of time.

We ship via UPS and USPS anywhere within the United States. Please note, matches will be excluded from shipments to Hawaii and Alaska. We do not ship outside of the US at this time.

While we make every effort to insulate your candle for a plush ride to your doorstep, warm weather increases the chance of your candle melting in transit. If you anticipate your order being left in a mailbox for a long period of time, please consider shipping to a PO Box or an address with an indoor drop-off.

We take every effort to pack your order carefully, but should it arrive broken or damaged, email us at within 72 hours of receiving your order and include a photo of the damage (most carriers require proof). Surface cracks in the wax are considered cosmetic and will fix itself once you start burning your candle.

Returns + Exchanges

Not loving your order? We accept returns and exchanges as long as the candle is returned in its original condition and original packaging and is in a resellable condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Please note: Sonicglow® gift cards are not returnable, refundable or redeemable for cash except as required by law and can only be used to shop on the Sonicglow website.

Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of your order arriving at its shipping address. Please email us with your order number to initiate a return or exchange. We will not accept unsolicited returns or exchanges, nor will we provide refunds / exchanges for any product that does not meet our conditions as stated above.

If you received an incorrect product, we will gladly make it right. Shoot us an email with your order number and snap a photo of the item you received.

If someone rad in your life gifted you a Sonicglow candle and they didn’t quite nail your preferred scent, we are happy to exchange it so long as you can help us track down the original purchaser’s order. To get the conversation started just email us at
